How do I know I am Overweight?

  • Body Mass Index (BMI) - weight (kg) / height (m2)

    • Underweight = < 18.5​

    • Normal weight = 18.5 - 24.9

    • Overweight = 25 - 29.9

    • Obese = >30

** Asians with BMI > 23 has increased risk of health problems.

  • Waist Circumference: Abdominal Obesity - measuring tape just above hipbones. Measure after breathe out.

    • Male: >90cm​

    • Female" > 80cm
